This week’s Assignment: Each of you shall pick a random and actively developed FLOSS project and lookup it’s bug tracking system and choose a bug that has been reported at least a week before and fix it and submit a patch.

This semester’s project: Each of you shall pick a random, at least 2 years old and actively developed FLOSS project; you are required to E-mail the lead developers inquiring about their future huge milestones, then you shall study the milestones and build an implementation/design plan for the nearest milestone and E-mail the developers back with your ideas; if your design was accepted then you shall start right away with the implementation. In case your design was not accepted, fork the project with your own implementation plan in mind.

First post after the upgrade from the legacy wordpress 2.0.x branch to the new 2.2.x branch … Everything seems working fine although alot of people warned me not to do so … One way or another I mistakenly upgraded to the 2.2.x branch instead of the legacy branch, it wasn’t intended.
